These website terms govern use of the RVA Local Spotlight website. Advertising services are also governed by the written proposal or service agreement accepted by the client; that agreement controls if it conflicts with these website terms.
Services
RVA Local Spotlight provides business positioning through recurring community postcard design, printing, postage, and distribution. Availability is limited by neighborhood, category, production schedule, and acceptance of a written service agreement.
Pricing and payment
Website prices are general ranges and are not a binding quote. Final pricing, placement size, payment schedule, production dates, and applicable fees will appear in the client’s written proposal or service agreement.
Commitment, cancellation, and refunds
Programs generally require a minimum commitment of six months, with twelve months recommended. The signed service agreement states the actual term, cancellation rights, deadlines, and refund policy for each engagement. Because design, printing, postage, and route preparation incur advance costs, payments may become nonrefundable as stated in that agreement.
Client materials and approvals
Clients confirm that they have the right to use all names, logos, photos, claims, and other materials they supply. Clients are responsible for timely proof review and the accuracy and legality of approved advertising content.
Intellectual property
RLS retains rights in its website, brand, card systems, templates, and original design elements unless a written agreement says otherwise. Clients retain rights in materials they owned before providing them to RLS. Final ad-use rights are defined in the service agreement.
Results and availability
RLS provides positioning and visibility, not guaranteed leads, revenue, or business results. Mail dates, routes, and delivery may be affected by production, postal operations, weather, or events outside RLS’s reasonable control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RLS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from website use or services. Any direct liability is limited as stated in the applicable service agreement.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Virginia law. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve disputes informally. Any additional dispute process or venue will be stated in the applicable service agreement.
